Everyone who raved about Vcon's Banana Bread wasn't lying! It's great (although a tad bit too sweet). I shared some with Spongebob who was clearly satisfied with the result =p
Yeah, I love Spongebob! I wouldn't go as far as Marc Jacobs and wear him on my arm, but I do love my little Spongebob and Patrick dearly ♥ I'm ready for motion! Watching Spongebob always makes me happy, he he!
I didn't add enough chocolate chips though... but then again this came out more bread-like than I had expected (probably because I only knew Banana Cake before) so to have only a little chocolate chippy here and there probably won't kill me. It tastes great with some strawberry jam and fresh banana slices on top!
I took a slice to work with me yesterday and enjoyed it with red grapes.
Last night I was getting the munchies and (here comes the missing chocolate in again) totally plucked the mini muffins to pieces in quest of finding more chocolate, ha ha!
But the leftover pieces will go great with some yogurt and fruit - sounds like I'll have a trifle soon!

Hehehe, I'm glad to hear you raving about the banana bread - I've bookmarked mine for so long - and I STILL haven't made them yet!! I normally reduce the sugar in cookbooks - they're always too sweet for my liking!

SpongeBob and Patrick seem to really love your bread/mini muffins :0D It all sounds delicious!! There's definitely a lot of sugar in that V'con recipe, which is why I always reduce the amount - maybe try that next time, so that the bread won't be TOO sweet :0)

I love Spongebob! I don't really watch it by myself, but whenever my little brothers have it on I sneak over and watch it =]
Banana bread is probably my favorite bread to eat and make...it's so easy and soo yummy!
I love Spongebob too! Ich bin bereit, ich bin bereit! is something we say way to often in this house! (well, maybe you watch it in English, but that's what he says in German and it's so funny!)

Jennifer - I know, he's so charming =p He couldn't talk my boyfriend into trying one though, but he doesn't like banana in anything but its natural form anyway.
Jessy - It really adds a nice fruity touch. I'm usually all for fruit loaded baked goods so I felt there was something missing. The jam totally made up for it =)

VeggieGirl - I will definitely keep that in mind! Better too little sugar than too much as you can (especially with this bread) always add something sweet, like jam.

Mihl - Can I tell you how JEALOUS I am? I've been in love with that sandwich maker forever =p And I stood in front of the glasses, mugs and bowls at Lidl every time they had them arguing with myself whether to buy them or not. I use a Nikon d40x which I love dearly! I want to take a photography class some time soon though because I'm quite sure that there's still a LOT I have to learn about how to use that camera to the fullest.
