Pizza Pizza!

I went to IKEA on Saturday and got a pizza pan!!! =D
So on Sunday I made my first pizza crust using this recipe (which I can highly recommend!!). I made my dough with whole wheat and spelt flour, used cornmeal and no oil. My boyfriend who fears whole wheat insisted on regular flour and oil and was more than happy with the result!

My pizza (with garlic broccoli, fresh basil, red onions, cauliflower, red bell pepper, scallions and peperoni).

My boyfriends pizza. I have to admit - his crust tasted better!

Other than that I tried alpros new Soya Macchiato milk. It tastes great in coffee, but just as good on its own!

I LOVE Ikea - how fun that you bought a pizza pan!! You're definitely putting it to good use already, I see :0)

Oooh, nice pizza-topping choices - I love loading my crust with tomato sauce and vegetables :0)

That pizza looks fantastic. Brett is still trying to perfect a good crust, you are inspiring me to get him to try again soon. All those veggies on your pizza, yum!

Ive been online searching for 30 mins for a decent oil-free spelt/wheat pizza crust. I decided to abandon and catch up on my friends blogs... then I see your amazingly beautiful pizza and a spelt crust recipe. XOXOXX

Those pizzas look delish!

I love how you put cauliflower on one... I've never thought to do that before!

By the way, I love your photography - all of your food looks so pretty :)

I'm glad to have found your blog!

Next time you have pizza, please don't invite your boyfriend over-- invite me instead! I'm sure he will understand!

...well, maybe he won't :o/

You're making me want a homemade pizza too! And a pizza pan - ooh, you're a fancy girl now! IKEA has such great deals on cooking supplies.

Your glass of soy macchiato milk looks delicious! I've been seeing these funny Asian soymilks at the international food store... Strawberry-flavored and mango-flavored. They look a little to scary to try, though...

VeggieGirl - I think I spent most of my money at IKEA ever since I was 6 or so =p

I always overload it with veggies, trying to pack as many on top as possible!!

Jennifer - Thank you! As I made the crust I thought of Brett and his crust skills and told myself "Imagine you were Brett and the master of crustmaking and it'll turn out great(sadly I did not said that to myself while making mine which turned out less yummy than Hendriks)!" ha ha, you made it into my kitchen =p

Romina - Oh yeah, it's a love/hate thing. Now that I'm a little older I don't buy too many useless things anymore, but as a kid/teen I'd spend all my money at Ikea (ost of the time for useless stuff)

Happy Herbivore - Ohh he he! I see you made one, too! I'll have to give yours a try next time =)

JD - Thanks! And thank you again, he he! It's really nice to hear =)

Katie - Of course!!! Screw him =p It's my good right to pick a vegan friend to share my pizza with than someone who uses my lovely pans to cook steak in =S

Ruby - It took me so long to finally do it because I thought it demanded a lot of time, but I was surprised that it wasn't much work at all =)
And you're so right about IKEA! I also got a grill pan, can't wait to give it a try!

Ha ha, I know what you mean! My mom brought me Blueberry soy milk yesterday... haven't tried it yet so I'm rather excited to find out if it tastes good!
